That is not Uniondale's B-Truck........That's an F-350, and a different year. Do they have Uniondale's too?

Boght still has the 1967 Ford. They bought it from Latham, a neighboring fire district who built it for the old central NY drill team association. Elsmere's is a 1978 Chevy bought new from Saulsbury Fire equipment and made for racing in the old Cental NY association. Delmar had a 1968 Chevy also made by Saulsbury very similar to Elsmere's. They still own it but the body was cut off to use as an equipment hauler. Fuller Road FD has truck very similar to Boght's made by Sanford Fire Apparatus that was sold to one of their members when they stopped racinig in the central NY association.

Nozz31-- 1953 Ford (Roslyn Highlanders) Late50's-1976 Sold to North Greece and never raced. Last I heard it was sitting behind someones firehouse somewhere upstate on blocks rotting away.
That truck went from North Greece to the Rochester Marine Volunteer Fire Dept to use the pump. They never did use the pump and Sea Breeze towed it out of there when they bought their current B-Truck from Oyster Bay. Sea Breeze installed the pump in their truck and then gave the truck to the Wellsville Dragon Slayers who started to put it together and then folded up and have never been seen again. That is where the truck sits today.

That's the next topic - what happened to Kevin Connell's afro???
Here's what I know:
Garden City Park purchased it in 1982 and used it in 3 tournaments before disbanding. They sold it to the Hauppauge Sneakers who never raced with it, but cut the back off for use as a first-due brush truck. Interestingly, the Knockers repurchased it in the 90's and made Scott Rice wear it during a prolonged hydrant slump. Although a portion of the hair was used to create a bar in the "racing room" of a local resident, the remainder is locked up in the basement of an unnamed Hempstead "Fluke".

My guess it after this guy used them, he handed them down to Tommy from Roslyn, then they went to Charlie from O.B and then onto Pete from MLFD!!
