Copiague's back end is not a Chivvis product. Stan must have started his list as he was running out the door to go to work so I will add the following to Stan's list: Elmont Hempstead Hornets Inwood New Hyde Park North Bellmore South Hempstead -- Originally built for East Meadow West Hempstead Brentwood East Farmingdale North Lindenhurst Selden -- Originally built for Williston Park Wyandanch Lake Placid -- Originally built for West Islip Garden City Park -- Originally built for Jericho, then to Melville

FYI Lindenhurst rig built in 1961/62 by Carlls Welding of Huntington. Specs were drawn up by Floyd Chivvis who was on the truck committee. At the time he worked for Rennick & Mahoney. He did not open Chivvis Enterprises until December 1969 Obviously he brought the chariot design with him.
Not sure if this is the place or a decendent of the place Bottom line they did Lindy's truck, but Floyd designed it

Thanks for the correction Mark, That is something I never heard before. I revised my list. How many other guys thought that the Lindy truck was a Chivvis creation? ?? I can recall a score sheet I have with a Chivvis ad on the back It shows Wyandanch and Williston Parks trucks in the ad. Which of these trucks was the first built by Chivvis? Were they built at the same time?

There are 18 trucks on this list. Who can put them in the right order of build with a year to go with it? Wyandanch Selden (Williston Park) North Lindenhurst 1972 Brentwood Garden City Park (Jericho) West Hempstead 1974 Lake Placid (West Islip) 1982 South Hempstead (East Meadow) Syosset Hempstead Hornets Inwood Elmont North Bellmore 1988 East Farmingdale Hicksville Roslyn Coram New Hyde Park I think I have the order of production close. Who can supply the years ??

Technically was a Chivvis creation . Designed by Floyd just not fabricated by him. And obviously his design lives on
