The best year for the c-rigs was the 70 and yearly 80 . All the rigs where different and they had character. Today they all look the same with the exception of spencerport, north bellmore. there may be a few more but know they are pretty much the same.

I agree with jusmik, the "C" trucks today have no character. I also miss the real sound of the trucks before mufflers were required. Sometimes you knew who was on the line just by the sound of the truck. Bayshore's "B" truck sounded great and CI's "B" truck was very loud.It was great to hear!

Like father, like son. Thats Phil Coward's dad, Phil senior driving for the wildcats. Phil's grandfather was a Wildcat, as is phil's two sons. And digging on the right side is Jimmy O'Reilly. A great guy who was stricken at a young age with a stroke, and passed on last year.
