Yes, Elmont purchased "Speedy" from Port. It was the Runts, then Road Runners rig.

Danny cella modified it id say late 60s....theres picture here somewhere of the truck at rockville centre tourney in 68 and it still had the b truck appearence....think they stretched the wheelbase when it was converted to the whale

Here is the Point Pleasant Pea Pickers C-truck from a picture dated 1944. It is a 1937 Ford that was originally used by the department as a rescue truck. It ran until the mid 1950s when it was replaced by a newer Ford.
