The 1961 Ford went to scrap... Not sure what happened to the 1930's B truck. It was acquired from Island Park. It had a flat head ford and mechanical brakes. I still have an old radiator from it in my garage.

The tournament w rinky dinks and rangers was held where Hempstead Harbor Park stands today.where the softballs fields r now used to be a second road that ran parallel to Roslyn west shore rd...they had it there twice in 60s 67 and i beleive but not sure 63.if u look past the trucks u can vaguely c the beach

I remember that a few drills from departments in the town of North Hempstead were held there.
Wasn't it called Bar Beach?
