This year the St. James Wildcats Assoc. will be donating the proceeds to longtime Bay Shore Redskin, Harry "The Hat" Penny.Ex-Chief, Ex-Commissioner, and Ex-President of the NYS Association, Harry is currently in ill health. The rules of the survivor pool are the same as years past... just pick 8 different teams, each one to score in a different event in the State Drill. Last year's winner took home $1,000!!!!A few "numbers" on the Survivor contest... 1,000+: The amount of entries ever submitted (2011-2015) 200: The amount of entries last year, 2015 Ten: The amount of people who made it past C-hose in 2013, but none made it past B-hose...invoking the crazy "tiebreaker scenario" Twelve: The amount of people who have EVER made it past B-HOSE (three in 2011, two in 2012, zero in 2013, four in 2014, three in 2015). Three: The racing gurus who have made it past EFFICIENCY (Tim Nacewitz-2011, Jenn Harrison-2014, Corey O'Brien-2015) One: The lone survivor who has made it past Motor Pump (Corey O'Brien-2015) ZERO: The amount of people to fill out a PERFECT sheet. Will YOU be the first "perfect sheet" ??!!  !? |

2016 Survivor Recap:
Congrats to Mike Spatz from South Hempstead on winning the 6th annual (and largest ever) Wildcats Assoc. Survivor Pool.
We had over 240 entries this year, and Spatz was the only one to make it past B-hose.
Spatz also became ONLY THE FOURTH EVER to make it past efficiency (over 1200 entries ever).
He also generously donated back half of his winnings to Harry Penny and Jon Poirot from West Hempstead.
Thanks to all who played, better luck next year!
