You gotta love the internet. I took all the East Meadow Meadowlark photos and videos I could find, added a few of my favorite songs I had in iTunes and made a tribute video. Uploaded to YouTube and tadaaaa. Easy to do in Windows Movie Maker and it's a free program to boot. Not sure if clicking the link will work but you can copy and paste. www.youtube.com/watch?v=GFzbfFg8yuY&feature=youtu.be

Great video - great team w a lot of history. Who was the guy that went from digger to long time driver? I think the vette was originally built by Mosier. Thanks for sharing this.

No one seems to know for sure the year of the Ford B truck, but going strictly by body design it is believed to be a 1952.
Is Mosier the builder of the Vette? Never found that or the builder of the Chevy B that is in South Hempstead either.

Who was the guy that went from digger to long time driver? Roughly speaking, the main driver in the 60's was my father Bob Sclafani, 70's Jimmy Martino and 70's-80's Gary Nauth.

Not to take anything away from the huge amount of history in this video, and there is a lot, just look at the crowds in the stands, the differences in the safety on the tracks back then compared to now etc. But we are talking about East Meadow, is Leon anywhere to be found in that video?
