what year did the buckeyes buy that truck from the coolies From what the guys who were around at the time say it was late 80's early 90's. They only mention who was Chief of the Department at the time and he served from 89-91.

the Buckeyes got that truck in July of 1992 from the North Merrick Stump Jumpers who had bought it in 1990 from Farmingdale and 1st ran it at C.I. of that year. it was all white at that time and still said Coolies on the top of the windshield and had front hubcaps..i believe this was home built by FFD

WOW!!Stump jumpers had it a whole 2 yrs.!!, Then got the other one a few years later why??? I say keep'em because its only going to get harder to replace with all these new laws on spending coming in. So even if you don't run for awhile the trucks are worth their weight in gold to store away!!.

That C truck was Roslyn Highlanders old C truck.
