What a great clip - MP was still run before efficiency, Carl Jetter and Herman Fuehling were working as officials, Scheaffer beer truck, Port Wash Ward LaFrance quad and early Islip cherry picker. Excellent!!!

@ 5:36, why is there a half line in the street?
@ 8:00, is that my main man Donald "Elvis" Bray running middle man in Buckets?

That is the 75' line on a 200' foot course, the thought was, since it was only used in the middle (2nd man in 3-Man Ladder, Dumper in Buckets) it did not have to be the width of the course. It was not the only short line on the course that day, as the yellow safety line was also not the full width of the course. The 75' line was eventually painted the full width of the course by 1966.
When the electric eyes were implemented in 3-Man Ladder, the line became 12" wide.
And yes, that is "The Legend" running middle man (on the wrong rung...!) for the Flukes in Buckets. I am pretty sure that is Bob Noonan dumping, and Jackie Cloudman as the bottom man on the ladder too.
