Hey everyone:
Was just wondering if anyone had any pictures from tournaments held in East Rockaway. As I'm told from just about everyone, we used to have one of the biggest old fashioned tournaments of the year. Stories are welcomed too haha... Anything out there?

I remember as a kid in the 50's and 60's Oceanside hosted a motorized Parade and Drill than a week or two later ERFD held and old fashion tourney every year. Both were well attended from what I recall. As a matter of fact I remember a few drills were held on woods alongside Memorial Park with a temporary arch.

Its still there. However it hasn't been the Duck in close to 10 years and theres no longer any business there... One of the oldest buildings in town!
