For the most part, Central North Shore consisted of Dept.s from Huntington, Smithtown, and Eastern Brookhaven Towns. It was active at least through the Seventies as an organization. In those days, many of the Dept.s had teams: Huntington, Northport, Smithtown, Stony Brook, Port Jeff, etc. I think Centereach might have been a member too.
My grandfather, Richie Bowe, had a printing business on the side. He produced that 1954 program. I can remember spending hours in his garage looking through many programs from Central North Shore, Southern NY, and other drills as a kid.
