Yet another team surfaces up from the past. This patch was hiding in GuardrailGeeks Father in Laws patch collection. The "Bears" did make a Long Island appearance at the 1974 State Drill in Lindenhurst. Anyone out there remember them?

We raced against Speigletown back in the late 70's in the old Central NY Associaton. They were not regulars, but we always saw them at Rensselear County drills. I also seem to remember Lindenhurst coming up to one of the winter (snowmobile) tournaments that Spiegletown had organized for a few years.

Rick, I hope you're not going to tell me now that they held firematic tournaments on snowmobiles! (Snowmobile-Ladder, Snowmobile-Hose, Snowmobile-Pump!)
