B Hose Sorry Guys, gotta go with this one. State drill, Main Transit in 2000. Islip Terrace came down and SMOKED a 7.57. Roslyn came down a few teams later and beat that with a 7.55, allowing them to finish 5th place overall for the day.
Sorry guys. Naturally, my favorite B Hose memory was topped by the '06 States by running a 7.47 (3rd fastest in history) I couldn't believe what happened for a good 1/2 hour. To top it off, being in the stands rooting on Hempstead, North Lindy, West Sayville, Copaigue, and anyone else who had a smokin shot. Lost my voice for a while there by the time the drill was over.

My best moment was at Hempstead in 1973. It was in buckets it was the first time we had won in buckets. Our time was 25.57 it was good for 1st place.

2002- C.I. Invite The tie in 3-man ladder between North Bellmore and C.I., then the run-off were maybe the best drama I've seen at a regular drill.
The '84 state drill, a Hornets win, was awesome in buckets.
Also the '97 Knockers win over Hemp. in the State Drill, great comeback, again big finish in buckets.

2008- Motor Pump at the STATE.
With a 3.5 point lead over Islip, at the New York State Championship Drill, N.H.P. comes down under pressure and puts up a sweet "5.88"! Wow. Things are looking good.
4 teams later , E.I. nearly beats it with a nice "5.96"
2 Teams after that, alllllll the pressure is on Islip to score big, or the state tourney will essentially be over before Buckets. The Wolves come up with a run for the ages- "5.80"! What a thrill to watch! Might they be down only 2.5 points going into the Brigade?
The drama in pump however is not over. W.S. puts up a great shot as well, slipping in between Islip and N.H.P. with a "5.83" to help thier Suffolk County brothers, cutting N.H.P.'s lead to just 1.5 going into Buckets!
The rest as they say , is history.
