I believe this truck is Tim Maher's New rendition of a B-Truck that Roper help guide the build. It was never a Fire Department B-Truck!! He frequents this site time to time and his sign on name is chevroletbrig

I will certainly re-confirm this with my father, however, we did not help anyone build such a truck. The only "re-creations" we built were for Mike From O-Bay, we built both his trucks in the last couple of years. Never even heard of Tim Maher. And the last B truck we built that has seen a track was for Oceanside, now NHP after they changed the back.

I have a picute of this truck on my cell phone. This guy lives in Merrick and keeps the truck in his driveway. I will not give the street name. He was in his garage when I slowed down and took the pic. He seemed like a weirdo.

Yea the guy did seem a little odd. Rambling on about not being able to put food on the table but yet the FD gets to go racing. So I'm sure this guy didn't have this rig built for himself. He said it was built by a dept (not sure which one) but they never raced it. I'll have to see if I can catch him out there some other Friday night and dig some more info out of him.

I don't know about him, but I'm not gonna be building/driving a toy b-truck if I can't put food on the table....
I see it has the larger diameter wheels. The rear body looks to big for the cab...a little out of scale, huh?
Any of you who engaged this crab know what kind of power it has?
