Stan Holy Crap how embarrasing, cant believe that is posted. Well we all have to start some where. I believe the first part is April 97. In the video is also a very young CFDBUSTER, CFDOLDBIRD, Ron Fieldsa for Amityville (former Villians Driver) and myself video taping. Thanks to the Piston Knockers for the Transport. The second part is testing at Tanner Park. Of course Vinny(CFDBUSTER) had done some repairs and we couldnt wait to get it out there. The truck has come a long way, I know its special to you also. Who knew, I took it on of its first test drives, now driving it full time. All kidding aside, Thanks...brought back some great memories. Gonna show the new guys to show them how easy they have it!!!!

To this day, I still cant believe the District let us buy it! Coming from an Old-Fashioned team in Suffolk County, which at the time we were 1 of 5 or so teams running O.F. it was kind of a dying breed. So to continue from our small accomplishments that we made competing in OF, going Motorized was the ONLY answer (Well.....as far as the team was concerned).
As we arrived in Mastic that day to pick it up, we felt as though we were on some sort of special secret mission. The Commissioner from Mastic was acting very weird and jittery! (you can see him in the vid) Well evidently they never told the drill team that they were selling the truck to us. As we were taking the truck out of the garage there, wouldn't you know it , some of the Mastic drill team members got wind of the actions and showed up! (What an uncomfortable moment!) A little bit of commotion started, One of the Mastic guys jumped into the rig and decided on his own that he was going to take the truck for one last BLAST down the track. (for those of you that remember, Mastic had a track right in front of where they housed the B & C trucks.) so as this guy was running a "C-Hose blast" with the B-truck he didn't realize that one of our friends from the Villains was on the rig HOLDING ON FOR DEAR LIFE!!!! lol. I didn't think this guy was going to bring the truck back. As you can guess he did, and we scooped and ran! I Cant believe that was 12 years ago... Wow.

Hey, everyone should have a moment like this on tape! I get excited for you guys just watching! Perhaps this is a good place to continue this thread with video or pictures on new deliveries, or the maiden voyages of our rigs? Got any?

Vin did a great job in obtaining that rig and geting her into the shape she is now.
the best part is we had her about a week and we were doing "drops" in the HS parking lot. The tail board was held on by a couple of bolts and the steering and brakes were near non-existent but we couldnt wait to start jumping. Absolutely foolish thinking about it now.
Was an honor to jump from and drive, as that dweeb yeahyeah would say "M'Lady", what a j**koff!! LOL You make me laugh Tom
Proud to be the former captain of a really good up and coming team. Keep up the hard work boys...see you on the track, i should be wearing a white shirt
