Looks like a tournament well attended. Anyone got a list of teams on a scorecard? Perhaps frame by frame?

Massapequa appears to be one of the 1st teams to go to a new front end, the chev with a roof and doors that is so common now - miss the older style fords, etc. Also note the cut down back end of Bay Shore's B.

North Bellmore was at the Drill. I believe we finished 4th, and Manhasset finished 1st. What a party back at Hartsdales Fire House.

Thank you for the correction Historian. I usually ask my dad before posting stuff like that. I called him but he did not answer.

I know of one more competition in PA. It was held in Laureldale,Pa.(about a mile north of Reading) back around 1973. My dad ran the Engine to keep a constant pressure for the mock hydrant. I'm trying to locate his slides from that day.

Found this trophy on my Dad's shelves. Also had one that said 1973 Pennsylvania Champs but my camera died.

Thanks for sharing the trophy photo. This gives me a time frame to look in his slide collection.

Central Fire Co. #1 was the host of the drill in 1975 that we all call Allentown.
Bay Shore won that drill and also the 1973 drill in Warminster.
