The track in the film was Freeport. It is no longer there. It was between Sunrise Highway and Merrick rd. If you pause the video at 6:43 you will see that it matches the picture below. Roosevelt running @ Freeport - Buffalo Ave. (nys site memories section photo)

Malcolm, thanks for posting that here. I love the old nostalgic stuff. The course was right up the street from the old Freeport Speedway on Buffalo Ave. There's a shopping center there now. Gotta love progress

From the copyright date at the begining of the film, I believe it read's MCMLXV which is 1965.

Lou Medaglia was chief April 1965-April 1966 of Freeport F.D. so that would jive for this video being shot in that time frame

Another Flukes sighting on Malcom's "unknown year....." posting on video #2:
That's the Flukes running B-Hose with the Ahrens Fox at 5:45 into that film. Excellent!

There are 2 nice shots at 4:45 and 5:49 of N.Y.S.P.& D.T.C.A Past President (75-77) Jim Moreland doing some digging on the right side, and running efficiency hydrant for the Baldwin "Go Boys"
