Is that white Ford B rig a '49?, I heard that Hauppauge's(Muskrats) old B rig a '49 Ford went to Nesconset(never ran it) then on to West Babylon.

Does anyone know anything about when this truck was run? Theres no pictures of this in our firehouse, and i dont think anyone in the dept. knows anything about it.

Not absolutely sure, but I believe it was in storage in GC's police garages behind village hall until 1971 which was the last time I saw it there. Know they ran it in '63 to about'66 +/-. Look around the early seventies, dunno, maybe they loaned it for a spell? It was idle for quite awhile, I know that. Foran might know.

The Garden City Duds picked up this Dodge when the Runts got the truck that the Road Runners still use to this day.
There are scores for the Duds in the 1964 Hempstead Invitatonal drill.
Unfortunately, there are few scores for the late 60's that would give a clue as to the years that Carle Place ran this rig.

Doubt that they have it. I emailed my brother out west who ran on it, waiting for an answer. Believe it or not, your best connection for info is either in Hempstead, I was a tyke, but I think they called him "Tiny", or the current driver from the Terrace. He is also GC from way back. Good luck!

That truck is most definitely not in GCs possession. Not in the last 30 years +.
