Did West Babylon get that truck before they got Garden City Parks truck? North Lindy started running the 72 Chevy in the 73 season. I don't remember West Babylon running before they got Garden City Park's truck in I believe 74 or 75. Garden City Park had John Mosier (Nassau Custom Fabrication) build them a new 1974 Ford that later went to New Hyde Park.
Could retiredfm elaborate more on his thought here?

West Babylon got NL truck before GCP truck. West Babylon found a B Truck in the dump and attempted to fix it up and get it running, but it never got on the track. North Lindy's truck became available so they purchased it. I don't recall how long West Babylon used it before they got Garden City Park's truck. My brother drove for West Babylon, but unfortunately he passed away a few years ago, so I can't ask him. I might have some pictures.

West Babylon ran the B rig in the 1974 season, as they are listed as running B events at the '74 states in Lindy. I think possibly the last time the rig may have been run was at the TOB drill held by East Farmingdale in '76, when they celebrated their 50th anniversary. If memory serves me right, the rig was white and resembled a Good Humor ice cream truck body style? It would be great to see pics and perhaps get the Screaming Eagles back on the track again!

On previous posts this was identified as Williston Park Sparks old B rig; forget who they said was picking this up from someone's garage in this photo. I remember when WP ran this (it was red), but do not ever remember seeing another team with this truck or seeing it in white.

The Wiliston Park history about this truck is known, but went to Oyster Bay( parts?), then onto to Copiague for a short time (never ran it) then onto North Amityville (never ran it) an then told it was junked... So with that, possibly assuming that West Babylon found it in the Junkyard as previously stated??? West Babylon found a B Truck in the dump and attempted to fix it up and get it running, but it never got on the track.
