Thanks to Dan Cornell, Dave from Riverhead, & various other sources I have full and partial results from many past drills from Suffolk & Nassau. Some years are nearly complete, others are spotty. Given the quantity of information, I am not sure where to start so I will go with which ever era gets the most votes.

There are many years of Nassau County drills at the beginning of the NCDTCA's history where the results of those drills seems to have been lost to time: between 1947 and 1971 I could only find records of only five different years where the County Tournament was held. While researching my book I contacted several people to try to get information on this, but it seems that record-keeping back then amounted to past-officers storing records in their attics, when were then eventually discarded years later after those people passed on. It would be great if we could somehow locate those records to complete the NCDTCA's history!

Thanks. Maybe old-timers(Kevie, Joe S, Historian?) might have ideas. IE: where was track in Long Beach, Mineola? Nice job with the research on this. You guys can break your arms patting your backs with all the work you put in. B

The 69 Mineola drill may have been the one held in the SE corner of Jericho Tpke and Nassau Blvd, may even have been on Old Courthouse, behind the HS. They practiced off Westbury Ave near Wilson Park, but no drills there. Albertson on Elm (1960) is all houses now - was just a few wood frames starting to go up than.

I personally think that all the results are important, no matter what time frame- and there should be a better place for these results than in this forum. we need to catalog them and vault them for safe keeping-

Thank you to all who voted. As you can see, the clear winner was 1970-1979. This is good for me because I had already started working on it, it is good for all of you because it probably contains the most complete info of all the time periods listed.

Each tab lists the schedule for the year, the location, the winner, and a check box indicating if the results are currently on the Archive, if we have complete results (Top 5 overall & per event), and whether we have a complete scoresheet on the Archive or available.

I will continue to work on a file for each year with the Drill by Drill breakdown of places.
