Does anyone have any pictures of the Boght Community 'Night Hawks' trucks? I remember seeing them at Lindenhurst as a kid, cool looking 'B' truck.

One of Boght's more recent trucks is pictured a couple times on page 7 of the "B-truck Trivia" thread.

Great additions Stan. From back in the day when Oceanside had commissioners who weren't anti-racing and would host the tournaments every year. If you look to the far left in the second Levittown picture and the Highlanders picture you can see the old Farmingdale B with the top cut off.

Back in the day when carnivals were a part of the drills. I can recall when Hempsted hosted the 4th of july drill. The used to have a large carnival as well.

And you can see from the pictures it was when they used to let us park on the side of the track instead of the back grass or the roads

Did the Ford B go from N Bailey to MainTransit or MT to NB?

I believe that the B truck went from Main-Transit to North Bailey after we built our current one from a former tow truck in the 1970s that we got from a company near our firehouse which the owner still does work on our B-Truck.

I have recently acquired about 30 or so pictures from a tournament held in Oceanside in the early 80's (may be the same as the ones above). There are some nice shots of the classic rigs on the track. It is mostly Nassau teams and a few Suffolk. They were taken by Keith Lane who is a TV cameraman, former member of East Rockaway and current member of Oceanside Truck. They are good quality. Once they are scanned I will give the originals to the teams in the pictures when I see them at the track or meetings.
