These are pictures of some of the C rigs that were built by Lou. Most of the pictures came from Lou himself. Reboli C rigs have compiled 12 State Championships, 14 if you count Patchogue in 1988 and 1991. I heard that he partially built that one. His trucks have broken the C Ladder record 8 times and the C Hose record 3 times. Many more times if you count Patchogue's. I know that it is the teams that ultimately achieved these feats but having the best c rigs on the course didn't hurt.
Lou did indeed build our truck we debuted in 1988. And he did the alterations to it when we extended it in 2004.
The official unoffical count for that truck:
2 NYS Championships
8 State Records (2- "C" Ladder, 6- "C" Hose)
45 (approximate) tournament victories.
Funny story...one practice, when we still practiced at the Village yard in Patchogue, Lou wanted to ride the truck. We were testing the brakes and did a few "C" Ladder runs with just 4 guys on the back. But he refused to ride the tailboard. So he got into the hose bed...and hung on...for dear life. And screamed the whole way down. I believe that was the last run he took with us.
Louie was truly an innovator to this sport. His trucks are the gold standard. Thanks again Lou for everything!

All you need is a bucket of dollars and a dream..... Hardcore Member Dan ask's .... "Did the arch get taller ?" No, I think Bill Rowse dropped a couple Viagra pills up on the arch, and not only did he become louder, the arch got a bit stiffer. ;D BTW- Superb collection of photos with historical significance.
