Maybe someone from Deerfield will know exactly where you are talking about. There's probably a good chance they might know who's rig it is/was. Again, I am positive that it is not Mohawks, it is also sitting in a village storage facility. Come on Hosebusters......help us solve this mystery.

Yeah I'm not sure how to add a picture on here so I'll send it as an attachment. I know that the c truck we used before our current one was bought by Copenhagen and from there I don't know where it went. I don't know where the c truck pictured above went after us either. Attachments:

Come on Hosebusters, someone there needs to know where the old practice track was or better yet where this old C is and who it belonged to. It cant be more than a few miles from your fire house, someone there knows the answers.

If you compare the Deerfield C rig (B&W photo) in the sept 15 posting above to the W carthage yellow C on page 5 of the hauler postings, siome similarities - did that deerfield rig go to W Carthage?

I am currently working on trying to find out about C Truck history from Deerfield and Copenhagen along with gathering pictures from Ilion's team. I'll post when I do find something out which should be soon

Alright, I talked to Copenhagen's driver and he said this, "The C truck they [Deerfield] sold to us we modified 2 or 3 times and when we got the one from Seabrease, it sat out back and use for parts then went as scrap metal. We still have a 51 new yorker here that was run in the 50's and early to mid 60's." So that's what happened to the C Truck Deerfield ran before there current one and a little bit of Copenhagen's history with C Trucks. Now with the C Truck that someone has seen from the thruway, I don't know exactly where this possible C Truck is so if someone can give me a possible location, I can certainly check it out.

From what I can gather from Calumets post, it sounds like the location in question must be on one of the side streets (dead end) off Route 5 -Herkimer rd.- it has to be on the south side (same side as Big Lots) and it sounded as though it was fairly close to the exit ramp (next to Big Lots) If my memory serves me? there isn't that many side streets on that side, so the garage and or better yet the C shouldn't be that difficult to track down. That is if its still there? ??

It is really hard to tell. I go to college at MVCC and I can try and swing by there tomorrow after classes since I have nothing going on. I'm currently on google maps and there aren't many side streets but I also don't wanna go wandering in someone's back yard either lol so if someone could get me a little more specific spot we'd be all set.

Put a cardboard circle on the end of a broomstick and put some headphones on. Start walking around like you are looking for treasure. If the owner of the property questions you tell them that you are in search of a treasure chest full of gold boolyons.
