The Lieberman Chiefs car belongs to my uncle who now lives in Arizona . Probably the nicest car I've ever seen. I bought my '49 Dodge ( the East Quogue Truck ) currently on ebay because I wanted something like Bruces car.

Here are a couple off the top of my head. John Mosier of Nassau Custom Fabrications Billy Bryson, Massapequa Fire Dept. Lee Christensen, Bay Shore Tom Jensen, Bayport Welding Bootsy, Flanders Fire Dept. Ed Aikam & Claude Pardee, A & P Automotive, Port Washington Dennis Quitoni, High Tune Automotive, West Hempstead Hi-Tune never actually built any trucks. Most of the trucks he sold were built by a place in Pa.

As for North Bellmore and Hempsteads speedwagons .Nothing but the frames where fabricated in a race shop in PA. All the other work was done in Dennis Hi-tunes garage in West Hempstead.

....well the Hi-Tune's body work was innovative, to say the least. Unlike those "one of a kind" Reboli's. I never measured the dig times on Hempstead's or N. Bellmore trucks, but it'd be interesting to analyze. Both did well in C-ladder events for a brief period (dare I say 'til 2004 for N. Bellmore ?) Aside from the fact the Rinky Dinks truck was initially a total oil smoking POS, and the Yellow Hornets truck was on Adderall the days leading up to it's demise, these trucks "boogied" when they needed to. ~T
