Jojo: Thank you for these excellent vintage additions!
I do know what happened to parts of that truck....the Hemi engine and the rear body went on the new 67' Dodge they purchased.
No idea what happened to the cab and chassis.

forget the loaded hose- look at the amount of people in the stands to watch the hose contests!

Those of us that remember running with the double jacket heavy hose before saturn hose came out will tell you that it was almost impossible to get all the air out and to pack it flat. Half of the teams now would not be able to fit that old hose in their tiny hosebeds. The worst I ever ran with a couple of times was the old candy stripped hose, that hose would not bend at all. We learned from Wilbur to cut off the outer jacket to make it more manageable. I am sure Historian can tell some hose stories.
