Awesome find !!!!! Hey Geek great photos, that is a tourney from Broad St,W.Hemp(probably 7th Batt.) hydrant still there even part of the blacktop ramp to curb remains! You can see the rig was set up for the Booster contest....several years later is the last time I recall ever seeing Booster run and it was on that course.

Can someone point me in the right direction on how to post a You Tube video? I am trying to post the Westerners B-Ladder run from 1972 and I can't get it to work. Thanks.

I forgot to mention that my father and uncle built the rear body seen in the video in the bay at the firehouse and the side panel with the Westerners script in hanging in my moms basement. although my father missed this my uncle will be a huge help in her restoration..

Hey Guys. Congratulations, great find!
Kenny, you posted this truck was part of W.H.'s ONLY state championship. I thought there were several championships for W.H. I know I've seen patches from my grandpappy's old jerseys that show it. Did they use a different truck back in the 30's and 40's? Just curious.

Kenny, best of luck refurbing the old B-truck. You did a great job with the C-truck and Im sure you will do the same with this one. Great to have anorth part of racing history make its way back home. Im sure your Dad is looking down very proudly on you for your work with the Westerners history.
