Yup. Junior and Donald are sporting Frogs jerseys. I am wearing one of the old white Frogs jerseys.

Looking at the last picture in the collection above, the B rig is a Chev with a chrome grill that I assume followed the GMC that Manhass-Lakvil has now. But this is different from the B rig Roslyn is currently running; did they just change the hood and the grill, or is this a different rig. If different, where did the Chev w/ the chrome grill go?

The hood was changed to a fiberglass cowl induction in 1993. The grill was painted to match the red of the rest of the truck.

The close-up shot of "B" ladder was in Hicksville's Labor Day Drill. It was "during the run"....the photographer (I think it was Billy Butters) asked if it was ok to stand right behind the ladder. Cool shot......

Alot of great memories in this thread!

Holy b-truck musical chairs... How many b-trucks has Roslyn run with over the years, I think i saw at least 4 or 5, That's 3 or four more then most other teams that have been out there for a long time!

well the highlanders have had 3 b-trucks over the years. we have had a 1955 i want to say with an open cab that looked like islip's that we are trying to find and restore. then we had a 197? something gmc that manhasset has now with a rebuilt back. and the 1991 chevy that we have now that has had acouple paint jobs. but in the late 70's before we got the gmc we were combined with roslyn rescue and use there b-truck that yellow birds use. so we haved used 4 but 3 have been ours. now c-trucks we haved used alot more
